Fun! The Lionel Trains Coca-Cola Holiday G-Gauge also manages a spot among the 2017 Christmas holiday best kids’ train sets.

When I was a kid, Coca-Cola commercials were the absolute best because they were the most creative. Especially around the holidays, because the polar bears and Santa Claus were involved. This train set makes me think of those advertisements, complete with the sparkly Coca-Cola trademark and real-working bells and whistles.

A long-time favorite makes it to the 6th spot among the top train sets for kids 2017 and into 2017 with the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Railway.

Melissa and Doug are king and queen of wooden toys, and this train set is no exception. There are over 100 elements, including arrangeable track sections that kids can build and rebuild over and over again. Lovin’ the six-car train too, with a cargo car, four-car passenger sections, and flatbed.

Next up on the list – KidKraft Metropolis Train Set & Table.

I’m not sure which part of this train set I love more—the train and scenery, or the table it all sits on. Accessories-wise, there is a two-tier bridge, arrangeable 100-section tracks, and tunnels. Plus, lots of wooden figures, like a construction worker, police officer, gas station attendant, and firefighter.
